Haiden Cowan tackles World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Kicking off the crown jewel weekend with twin $12,000-to-win preliminary nights, Haiden Cowan joined a field of over 100 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the 55th-running of the World 100.
Racing his way into both preliminary nights on Thursday and Friday, Cowan finished 13th and 20th which slated him for the sixth heat race on Saturday. Haiden started third after the six-car invert and eventually finished ninth. Cowan had one more shot in his B-Main and did not find a transfer spot.
Gavin stayed close to home over the weekend and competed with the Ultimate Southeast Series at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon for the Casey Barrow Memorial. Gavin started 10th and finished 13th in the $10,098-to-win main event.
