Haiden races into Topless 100 at Batesville; Gavin earns Top-10 with Carolina Clash
Haiden Cowan took off his roof and headed to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) for the 33rd-annual Topless 100 while Gavin Cowan stayed close to home and competed with the Carolina Clash at Sumter (S.C.) Speedway.
Haiden Cowan was one of 44 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries on Friday afternoon as he drove to a 10th-place finish in his preliminary feature. On Saturday, Haiden finished runner-up in his B-Main which put him in the field for the 100-lap finale. Cowan finished 19th in the $50,000-to-win main event.
Gavin qualified fourth-fastest out of 19 Super Late Models on Saturday evening before earning a Top-10 finish in the $5,000-to-win show.
