Haiden Cowan ninth in Clash at the Mag opener at Magnolia Motor Speedway

Over the weekend, Haiden Cowan traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series-sanctioned Clash at the Mag while his brother Gavin Cowan stayed closer to home for the Gaston County Shrine Race at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, N.C.) on Friday.

Among a huge 54-car field, Haiden finished runner-up in a heat race on Friday and scored a Top-10 finish in the $5,000-to-win opener. On Saturday, Haiden raced his way in through a B-Main and finished 19th in the finale.

Gavin qualified 11th-quickest out of 26 Carolina Clash entries and finished 16th in the $4,000-to-win feature.
